Post from Tom H
One week ago Harry H, Matty, Francois, George and me (Tom H) took part to the HSBC Rugby Festival 2011.This tournament was for 2 days at the rugby Sevens grounds. Harry and I play for a team called the Arabian Knights U-11 B and Matty, George and Francois play for the Exiles rugby team.
For the first day the Arabian Kinights were not playing as well as they could have done, we were missing tackles, we were not quick and missed opportunities to score tries. But for the second day we were playing really well and eventually we were winning all our matches. However, unfortunately for Matty,Goerge and Francois, thier team were kicked out of the league.
Back to the Arabian Knights 2, we got into the final plate and won.
We won a trophy called the plate cup and all of our team were celebrating the victory.
World War Two Auditions
Audition Script
Please choose which bit of script you want to learn. If you want a bigger part, choose the larger part to learn. You need to know it off by heart and you need to try and put in lots of expression. Both characters are soldiers in the trenches.
Character A:
This isn’t what I thought it would be like. I can’t believe I thought this would be an adventure. I was so stupid. I want to write home but what would I tell them? Can’t tell them the truth… Can’t them how tough this is. Haven’t had any sleep for days and they call this food? As for Danny- what would I say about him? He never even had the chance to say goodbye…
Character B:
Come on. Pull yourself together. Stiff upper lip and all that. We are soldiers after all.
Audition song
Pack up your troubles in your old kit bag,
And smile, smile, smile.
While you've a lucifer to light your fag,
Smile, boys, that's the style.
What's the use of worrying,
It never was worthwhile, so
Pack up your troubles in your old kit bag,
And smile, smile, smile.

Harry H's Rugby Weekend
Over half term I was in a rugby tournament and it was really fun because loads of other teams were competing in it. My team is called Arabian Knights, I train for them every Saturday afternoon from half past five to half past seven. The tournament was for two days, it started at two thirty pm and ended at six thirty pm on the first day, and on the second day it started at ten am. There were two trophies for each age group, the top trophy was a normal trophy and the bottom trophy was a big shiny plate. The team that got the top trophy was the team that had won all their matches and won in the final, and the team that got the plate was the team that won out of the bottom group. Each match was seven minutes long each way which meant it was 14 minutes in total. My team drew in most of our matches and lost in two on the first day, but on the second day we had more luck and we won both of our matches. We made it to the final which we won!! So Arabian Knights 2 won the plate and we got to go on the podium where we were all given medals!
I felt really happy about winning the plate and proud of my self. I was playing the position wing, which is at the side of the pitch. When you are playing wing you have to always be ready to tackle the opposition, the winger is fast and has to be able to run down the pitch quickly with the ball. The coach said I had tackled the opposition like a demon!

Georgie's Review of Oman Trip
I really enjoyed Oman absolute adventure.
Day 1: I was in the tiger group ( miss bates) and our first activity was rock-climbing. There were two rocks to climb one easier and one harder. The girls started on the easier rock and everyone got to the top. We all got to the top of the bigger one as well. I preferred absailing to rock climbing.
Day 2: Our activity in the morning was kayaking and I was in a kayak with Hannah and I thought we did quite well to keep up with all the boys. In the afternoon we did mountain biking. We started of with doing some jumps to warm up and then we played the game the circle of doom and I won twice out of the three times. We rode for ages and stoped at a park called Dam Park and we played on the swings.
Day 3: In the morning we did trekking up the mountain and saw lots of interesting things. In the afternoon all of year 6 did orienteering and did challenges.
Day 4: On the last day we did a Dow cruise and did snorkeling in the water.
In my tent I had Marie, Erin, Sophie and Katie.

Marie's review of Oman trip
Dibba was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved it.
Sea kayaking
The first day (day 1 afternoon 9 th of February):
I did kayaking it was awesome. I was in Mr. Watson s’ group. First we had to walk to the beach then we all jumped in a kayak with a friend. We all went kayaking at the same time. We were heading to the end of the beach and there were rocks and everyone got stuck in them apart from me and Anna. We went back on the beach and I saw Meiha and Karina really far .The current took them away I was really scared but Ali went to get them. Then we all went on the beach and played games and one kayak at the time went in the water the others played games on the beach and at the end we try to put Mr. Watson in the water but it did not work .So I took sand in my hands put my hands behind my back I kneeled down and I said “Mr.Watson”then he looked at me and I rubbed the sand in his beard it was so funny. Then we put the kayak away and we went back to camp with the car.
Trekking (Mr. Watson s’ revenge)
The second day (day 2 afternoon 10 th of February):
We all had to get ready for trekking we took camelbak and got ready. We all started to walk to the mountain. We arrived on the bottom and started to climb the mountain. It was really rocky we got to the top and the view was absolutely amazing I really liked it.Then we talked about how the mountains were formed, why was there shells on the top of the mountain … Then we got ready to get down the mountain. It was quiet steep but fine then we got on the beach we started to walk along it The Sebastien and Mr. Watson took me Mr. Watson by my hands and Sebastien by my feets and put my bum in the sea and after that I was soaking wet. I was really angry but it was funny. Then we walked back to camp we sang the all way it was so cool we made up the song for the sharks Jaws then we will we will eat you chomp… I really like it.
Dibba - Sophie says...
I had an amazing time at dibba and would have loved to have gone longer. I wish we could go back.
Day 1:
When we arrived we went to our cabins and half unpacked. In my cabin there
Was Erin, Georgina , Katie, Marie and me. We then had lunch and then we were put into our
Groups. I was with Mr Donaghey and in my group was Erin, Bethan, Rosie, Katie G, Ola, Max,
Amary, Matty and rory. My first activity was Mountain Biking. It was soo fun. I learnt how to jump
on my bike on the medium ramp and i managed to ride along the spine thing 3 times. Then we
rode back to camp, had a bit of free time, had dinner and had more free time. Then lights out at
10 i think.
Day 2:
On day 2 we woke up at 6:15 because we heard the cockerel. It was soo annoying : ).
Then we had the room inspection at 7:15 we got 4/5 and at 7:30 we had breakfast. After breakfast
We moved onto our next activity which I think was trekking which was instructed by Anya and Seb. They
Were both really nice. It was very interesting and I think the camelbacks were really cool. I managed to drink my 3 litres. After that we got back to camp had lunch and started our 2nd activity of the day. My second activity was rock-climbing on real rock with Eddie. There were 2 walls the 9m and the 13m. The girls did the higher wall first while the boys were doing the lower wall. Eddie told me to go zig zag which helped. I found more fun coming down than going up, but the scariest part was leaning back when I came down but I managed to do it. We then got back to camp had free time had dinner and then played a whole year game of tag. It was really fun.
Day 3:
My first activity on day 3 was sea kayaking. I went in a kayak with Rosie. We really struggled. We kept getting our fingers caught under the paddle some how. We were going up and down for ages but it was kind of fun. We then stopped and pulled up on shore because it was raining so we had a shell competition. Bethan and I won. Mine was a tiny little shell it was so cute : ) After the competition we kayaked back to where we started of and instead of being at the back rosie and I managed to zoom of infront we used all our energy but when we were walking back to camp we were both so exhausted. Well I was. When we got back to camp we had lunch and then every one did the same activity with different instructors which was orienteering which was really fun. However I think just before we started Mr W. had to leave because the twins were coming early. Later that night we had the talent show and just before it started we were told Mrs W. had 2 baby girls, Jessica and Layla. The talent show was soo fun Katie, Erin, Georgie, Leila and I did Introducing me. My favourite was Deborah Barbara and Dave which was Jasmine Hollis and Marie.
They were really good, so was everyone else.
Day 4:
Our last day of camp and we went on the Dhow cruise. Which was great fun. There was 2 dhows the bigger and the smaller one. On the way there I was on the bigger one with Erin and Katie. Some people got sea sick but we were chatting and sun bathing and having loads of fun. We then got to a place near the beach and went snorkelling. We jumped off the boat and miss bates even jumped of the upper floor. We then went back. But because some other people weren’t comfortable on the smaller dhow some of us swapped and I was one of them. It wasn’t as bumpy and didn’t rock side to side as much as they said. However it was freezing. So I had to put my jumper on top of my lifejacket with my snorkelling goggles on to keep most of my face warm and then I put my hood on and tied it up, I also rapped my towel around my legs. It was a great trip.
Katie S's write up for Dibba/ Oman Trip
On Monday the 14th February we got on a bus and drove to Oman/Dibba. We were met by the staff of “Absolute Adventure’ and teamed up for four days of absolute fun. We did five activities, Trekking, Mountain Biking, Kayaking, Rock Climbing & Orienteering. My favourite activity was Rock Climbing, because we got to climb two mountains, an easy on and a harder one, which was so much fun.
All of us were allowed to pick our own tents. I was in a tent with Sophie, Erin, Marie and Georgie we each got our own bunks. We had tent ‘clean-ups’ everyday, just to make sure we kept it tidy. We also had a talent show with Sophie, Erin, Georgie, me and Leila sang (Introducing Me) but we don’t know, who won.
On the trip, Mr. Watson had to leave because his twins, Jessica Rae and Layla Nicole were on the way. They were both girls, which Mr. Watson thought all along.
Hope you had a nice weekend with the babies and say hello to Mrs. Watson.

had loads of fun in Dibba, i wish i could stay longer! its the best time i have ever had, i really enjoyed doing trust exercizes and the spider web thingy instead of the rock climbing because it was raining. my favourite was probably trekking because we had loads of fun at the beach and we made our sharks song!! i really want to go again and stay for longer because it was so much fun! i was partners with jasmine in the sea kayaking and it was really funny because we got stuck in the rocks, jasmine and i agreed that we make the worst team in the world but a funny one! i had the best time ever and i really want to go again
Joe G on Dibba
day 1:
On monday 7th febuary 2011 year 6 went to musundam Oman. On the bus I sat next to Harry. When we arrived we had lunch before our first activity Our first activity was kayaking. I was in a boat with Cameron. We had to kayak to a cove where we played games and were taught what to do if our kayak flipped . Finally we pushed our kayaks back in the shalows. When we had dinner then free time before bed.
Day 2 :
This morning we had tent inspection before breakfast. Our activity this morning was mountain biking. First we cycled to an area with wide open space and cool jumps. First we did bike skills on the jumps and then fun games . After that we cycled back to camp for a break. Finally we cycled to a rock with ancient carvings on it before coming back to camp for lunch. Our afternoon activity was trekking we climbed up a mountain and on the way we lernt about the 7 rules of leave no trace. When we got to the top we had an amazing view. When we came down the mountain we had to be carefull because 20% of acidents hapen going up, but 80% coming down. Finally at the bottom on the beach we played fun games before going back to camp. After dinner our evening activity was to answer questions and do challenges, it was wikid cool. Finally it was time for bed.
Day 3 :
This morning we were supposed to be doing rock climbing but because of the rain we couldn't.So instead we did things like circle games, mistacle aboriginall numbers [which I eventually worked out],the trust fall which was awsome and a game where we had to work as a team to get through a spiders web like Lord of the Rings. Then we had lunch before our next activity. It was orientiering. We were taught how to use a compass to find flags and do fun challenges to earn points. It was really cool. After dinner our evening activity was a talent show, where people did some really good stuff. I sang the Avatar theme tune 'I see you'. When it had finished it was bedtime.
Day 4 :
Today we had to get up really early to pack and get ready for tent inspection before breakfast. After breakfast we had to walk to the port to go on a dhow cruise. There were really massive waves meaning the boat was like a roller coaster. Finally we reached a calm cove where we were allowed to swim in the sea. After that we once again had to cross the huge waves and long trail back to camp where we got on the bus to go home.
Dibba Trip - Cameron's review
Oman Trip
I really enjoyed our Absolute Adventure. It was the best residential trip that I have ever been on.
I was very excited as soon as we got on the bus and I was sitting next to Tom T on the way. When we arrived at the camp we had lunch and then got ready for our first activity. I was in Mr Watson's shark group and we were doing sea kayaking. We walked down to the beach and we all got a partner. Mine was Joe and he was in the front and I was in the back. We were quite good at it but once we got stuck in the rocks and had to get pulled out. Then we went on the beach and played some fun games. The best bit was when we all tried to throw Mr Watson in the water. Also we had a competition who could find the coolest shell which Joe won and we learnt what to do if we capsized. Then we went back to the camp and had showers before dinner because we were very dirty. After dinner we had some free time and then went to our tents to get ready for bed. I was in a tent with Harry H, Tom T and Matty. It was a great first day.
In the morning we had breakfast and then got ready for our second activity. My group were doing mountain biking. First we rode to a large open space where there were 3 jumps which were small, medium and large sized. We got taught how to get in the air over the jumps and I managed to do it. Then we played the circle of doom. We played it 3 times and on the last time I won. Then we had a race where the last person to cross the finish line was the winner. It was really hard to stay balanced. After that we rode down a road to a large rock to see some ancient carvings. On our way back to camp, I was overtaking Harry H and I accidentally fell on him. We both had lots of cuts, scrapes, and bruises but mine were the worst so everyone including Harry H cycled back to the camp and I got plasters put on me before getting a lift back to the camp. When we got back to the camp we had lunch.
In the afternoon we did trekking which was amazing. We had camelbaks which are these rucksacks that hold 3 liters of water in them. They have a little suction pipe coming out so that you can have a drink of water when you want it. We walked to a wadi and then we went up it. It was a very rocky ground. At the top of the wadi we learnt the 7 steps of "leave no trace." Then we trekked up a mountain which had an awesome view at the top. We saw some old villages where some people still live and we could see one of the other groups kayaking on the beach below. When we got to the bottom of the mountain we played some games on the beach. On the way back we made up a theme song for our group. After dinner we had a competition in our groups. There was a trivia question and a physical challenge. Then We went to bed.
In the morning I got woken up by a loud cockerel. When breakfast was over the sharks headed of to rock climbing. I was really looking forward to it because it was on a real mountain. When we got there we put our harnesses and helmets on but then it sta rted to rain so we had to go back to the camp. At the camp we did some trust and team games instead which were fun. Also Mr Watson showed us Aboriginal numbers. When the other groups came back we had lunch.
In the afternoon we did orienteering and my partner was Anna. I learnt to use a compass. We had to find flags by following bearings and at some of the flags there were challenges. Half way through Mr Watson got a call that he had to go back to Dubai because the twins were coming early. Later that night we had a talent show and I did a rap called tropical mice along with lots of other people. I thought Joe was an amazing singer And that George was very funny.
The next morning we all had a dhow cruise. There was one big dhow and one slightly smaller one. I was on The smaller one. It was very wavy and people were crying and being sick. The Boat almost went vertical at one point. I was sitting next to Joe. Then we stopped and we could go in the sea an d have a swim. Miss Bates jumped off the top of the boat! Next we went back to the camp and the waves weren't as big on the way back. Back at the camp we finished off packing and then got on the bus to go home. I was sitting next to Ethan. When the bus pulled into school we could see all of the mums waving.
Overall I would give the trip to Oman 11/10!

Ethan on his Absolute Adventure
Our Trip To Oman Introduction I absolutely adored Oman! This has to be the best residential trip I have ever been on In my 11 years on Earth. The fact that we were staying for 3 nights got me going! But with suburb challenges as well that put the icing on the cake! Accompany The room were awesome, they were so clean! The bed were a little un safe but other than that that they had everything from a bin to comfortable pillow furthermore I always had a good night in the sleepy-making beds. The Activities Everything was amazing however I especially like the activates there was a range and I think I enjoyed mountain biking the best because I'm just a bike kind of person! But also Because of the jumps and hills there. There was also a journey that took us past Dam Park which was a lot of fun playing in the park. Then comes Sea Kayaking, Me and Harvey went together, and you would always see us at the front or pit manovering somebody ( a move that police sometimes use in a high speed chase, what happens is the cop would get just to the right/left of the car and then push in on the side of the criminals car). This was a bunch of fun and plus the other got a bit annoyed about it, never mind! The End I knew it would come up some time, however it came way too soon for my liking, and Mr. Watson had to live early because Mrs. Watson had the twins!
Francois on Dibba Trip
I thought that Musandam was really fun and interesting. When I arrived at camp I joined Miss Bates' Tigers group. Our first activity was Rock Climbing with Eddie! There was 2 walls: 1 was steeper then the other. I thought it was quite a good start to our Absolute Adventure because almost everyone made it up the 2 walls except for Ross who went before everyone and ripped off most of his scab on his knee and was bleeding dark red and thick (just like powder paint)blood. Later in the afternoon I got more time to get my cabin and bags set and ready for the night and the next day in Musandam... My cabinmates were ETHAN and HARVEY! We had lots of fun together saying jokes at night and I liked it even more because ETHAN and HARVEY were in Miss Bates' Tigers. I really loved Musandam and all the activities we did there. I would really enjoy another trip like that with year 6 onwards in year (of course,if we have time!). Francois

Matty's Dibba Trip Review
Matty's Oman trip review
I had a brilliant time at Oman! I really enjoyed all of the activities and had a 10 out of 10 time altogether.
Day 1:
We FINALLY arrive at camp on the bus.
We sort everything out and have a yummy lunch.
The camels' first activity is mountain biking. I especially enjoyed the jumps and the circle of doom.
We eat dinner and have some free time.
BED TIME! a great first day.
Day 2:
We have breakfast in the morning.
My first activity is trekking. I really enjoyed hiking up and down the mountains.
We eat lunch (yummy!!)
Our afternoon activity was mountain climbing. This was my favorite activity. I struggled a lot but I eventually made it to the top of both walls.
I particularly liked the fact that the wall was real rock on a mountain and not fake.
We got back to camp and ate dinner.
We then played a game in our team with some physical challenges and trivia questions.
BED TIME!! An even better second day.
Day 3:
We eat a nice breakfast in the morning.
My activity that morning was sea kayaking. My favorite part was the shell hunt, where I met Hermann the 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
We came back for a delicious lunch.
In the afternoon we did orienteering. It was really cool to learn how to use a compass and my favorite challenge was the human knot
We have our last dinner.
TALENT SHOW!! I did some ball tricks and the tropical mice rap!
BED TIME! Was it me or were those days just getting better and better.
Day 4:
We have a Fantastic breakfast!
We set off for our dhow cruise. It was a long walk but worth it.
The cruise was really fun because the boat kept tipping up and down.
It was also great jumping off the dhow and it was reaally cool when miss Bates Jumped off the top!
We came back, got our bags and lunches and left.
What an amazing trip!!!!!
Thanks to all the staff who helped out!!!

Tom T Dibba review
Dibba, Oman
My best bit about Dibba was just staying away from home and having a great time with my friends. I think it was the best time we have ever had as a year group; I also thought we got along well together. It was great to have a chance to stay away from home for more than two nights, even though home is perfect. My proper best bit was doing rock climbing because I had never climbed a rock face on a mountain.
My greatest achievement was getting to the top of the easy climbing wall and getting half way up the hard climbing wall. But I also had fun doing the other activities such as trekking, which was tiring but fun, Mountain biking the activity that I got person of the day in and finaly the dhow cruise because you got to jump of the edge of the dhow and I’ve never done that before.
I really enjoyed doing the talent show because it was funny, exciting and again funny because we annoyed François by doing his so called lame rap : Tropical Mice; which goes like this:
“Down in the ice live the Tropical mice”
“Eating rice, rolling the dice”
“To get some exercise, do you realize?”
“WORD”
Thanks Tom T
Hollis - Oman review
I had soooo much fun at Dibba! Honestly it was way better than last year! My favorite activity was mountain climbing because it was on a real mountain and you had to think of where you were going! Also, the showers were cold, but now that I think about, I liked it a bit because it was also a little more like camp because when you are camping, you are not always going to have a hot water heater around!! I loved the talent show! It was amazing! Everyone did so well! It was again, much better than last year! Now this is what happened on each day:
1st day we got to Dibba, and our group the tigers went mountain climbing. Though we were tired from the bus trip (or at least me) we still had an awesome time climbing!
2nd day the tigers went mountain biking and sea kayaking, I was so tired from sea kayaking, I thought I might fall asleep, but I felt a lot stronger! Then we went mountain biking for 12.6 kilometers! I was soo tired! Our night activity was just our writing for the day and all the team activities!
3rd day was treking and orrentiring, we loved it, also it was the talent show! Me and Jasmine were from the sixties with poodle skirts and we sung elvis presley because we were in love and marie was the guy we loved!
4th day was the dow cruise and our last day! It was really chilly in the water and wavey but I loved it! I really enjoyed dibba and I bet everyone else did too!!
Oman trip - A review by Leila
I REEAALLLYY enjoyed dibba and all the activities we did there. My favourite activity was definitely mountain climbing. I loved how everything was so real. Like for instance using compasses and not machines to find our way around, because with machines you would know if you have done something wrong but with compasses you just have to trust yourself. Same thing with mountain climbing. You’re not climbing a wall where all the steps are already there for you, you’re finding the steps on your own.
I was really glad when I managed to get to the top of both mountains. Well not the top of the whole mountain, just to where we were meant to stop. I didn’t actually think I would manage to get halfway up either of them and was very surprised and pleased when I did get to the top of both. I was overjoyed when we reached the shore and stopped kayaking because even though it was an awful lot of fun, my arms were aching absolutely loads and I needed to rest them. The mountain biking was frustrating because I was always last and falling (I couldn’t even JUMP), but I like biking and still had fun. I surprised myself by enjoying trekking because I thought it would be boring walking, but the instructors found a way of making it interesting and I enjoyed myself alot.
The talent show was great. I don’t think we did particularly well but it was a great deal of fun watching other people’s talents. I laughed loads! I didn’t do much in the orienteering and the dhow cruise but I still had fun.
Over all I had the time of my life and I definitely would do it again if I could.
Harry H's Oman review
Harry H’s Review of the Oman trip.
I have really liked my stay at Absolute Adventure , because I have enjoyed the activities and challenges because they were things I have always wanted to do.
The moment we left on the bus I was already exited, I could not wait for the fun things that waited for us at camp. Once we got their we had lunch and got ready for our first activity , I was doing kayaking. My favourite bit was kayaking into the sea , I was sharing a kayak with Tom H and he was at the front of the kayak and I was at the back . The funniest bit was probably when everyone attacked Mr Watson.
I had a decent first night, I got to sleep at about ten thirty and woke up in the morning at six o ‘clock . After breakfast I had mountain biking, It was pretty fun and I learned how to ride a bike a lot more. The only downside about it was that Cameron and I had a little accident, I was riding and Cameron was overtaking me, and then he accidently fell on me and we ended up tumbling over each other . We both had cuts , bruises and grazes , Cameron had plasters on and had to be carried back to camp in the car , I was not as hurt so I rode back.
Later on we did trekking which was probably my favourite activity, we had camelbacks which are these bags that hold 3 litres of water and they have a suction pipe that you suck and water comes out. We went through a special route through the mountains and we went down on the beach, and played some games. We then walked back to camp and had supper.
My second night was like my first one except I woke up at seven o’ clock. After breakfast it was time for the activity I’d been waiting for the most which was rock climbing! You climb on a real rock face and abseil down it. We got there and put our helmets and harnesses and the other climbing equipment on. Everything was fine until the rain came and we had to pack up and go back to camp . I felt quite disappointed but I wasn’t upset or angry. We played some games and had a good time back at camp, later on we did orienteering which was fun because we had to find our way to certain points and do challenges. The only part I found tricky was using the compass but I got the hang of it.
Mr Watson had to leave early because Mrs Watson was not feeling too well and she felt that the twins were coming. Later that night we had the talent show, I did not do it because I could not think of anything to do, I thought Joe was the best because his singing was very good.
In the morning we had the dhow cruise which was exciting because we were going to go snorkling , it was quite rough in the sea and some people got upset and threw up. On the brighter side we jumped into the water and had a swim with the snorkels on, the odd thing was we saw no fish . On our way back it was rough again but we handled it. We walked back to camp and packed up, on our journey back I sat with Joe. Back at school parents were waving as we got out of the bus and went home.
I really enjoyed my stay at Absolute Adventure and hope everyone else did. I learnt lots of new things and I would love to go back again.
Jack on Dibba
Hi,
On the morning of the trip I was really excited about our Absolute Adventure. The bus trip over there felt like days but once we got there I was raring to go!
We did trekking as our first activity, which I thought was great. On the first night we did not get a lot of sleep because we were very excited about our day ahead.
The next day we had Rock climbing in the morning, which was brilliant because it was on real rock instead of a rock climbing wall. I managed to scale both easy and hard rock faces and I wanted to carry on forever!. In the afternoon we had sea kayaking. I went in a pendulum kayak with William. We both worked really well together because our strokes were in time so we were flying across the sea. That night we slept like logs that night because we were so tired! On the third day we went mountain biking, which I thought was the best activity because I enjoy Mountain biking a lot. I especially enjoyed the jumps, on which I got huge air! Then we had orienteering with a lot of activities that were team building based, so we learnt a lot about each other. The next day was the dhow cruise which was really fun because the boat was rocking crazily from side to side! Where we anchored was a bit disappointing because the sea was very murky so we could not see any fish or sea life.
I learnt loads of new things like: how to use a camelbak, how to orienteer with a compass, how to climb a real rock face, how to get back in a kayak in the water and to jump a mountain bike. I really enjoyed the trip overall and thank you everyone for organising the absolute adventure! And thanks again to all of the Absolute Adventure staff for leading the activities!
