I think brainiac was great, they did some really cool experiments. My favourite was probably the spinning chair beacause they used three different ways to make the chair spin faster in 15 seconds i liked how they had the idea of using the rocket things!!!
it was great!

Today we went to see Brainiac live at DUCTAC in Mall of the Emirates. On the bus and at the theatre I sat next to Matty but only in the theatre did I sit next to Ethan.I thought the best experiment they did was the spinning on an office chair in 15 seconds. But I thought the funniest brain thing was the music thing where they changed the words to a song which mad me crack up.Overall I thought Braniac was the best science show I have ever seen.

i really enjoyed the braniac show today, my favourite was the bit where they did the experiment when they had the catapult and the bottle machine and that big barrel with those big air rings that came out of it that was really cool

I thought the show was exhilarating and really funny.

My favorite part was when Brainiac used an air bazooka because I actually got to touch a big round smoke ring that he blasted out from the air bazooka!

I thought Brainiac was really funny! It had humor but I learned a lot from it!! My favorite experiment was the one with the words and how you can still read them even if the letters are jumbled up in the middle.I also liked the lady and how she would turn in a different direction if you stared at it for a while.Plus I liked the one when the apprentice used that smoke gun! I thought it was really cool! Thanks for bringing us Mr.Watson!!

I think the best part of the brainiac science abuse show was the exploding balloons and micro-wave because they were both very funny and wacky. I like the fact that you can learn some thing while setting fire to things and blowing stuff up! The exploding balloons were cool because they told you why a half hydrogen and half oxygen balloon made a louder bang than a just hydrogen filled balloon. ( it is because the oxygen makes the hydrogen angry!) I really enjoy the show on the whole and I wish they will come back to Dubai soon!

BRAINIAC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amaury's post

My favourite experermint was the one where they tried out three fastest ways to turn an office chair: First try, 15 seconds timing, turning around by pushing with feet,Brainiac Ned(most courageous of them all and has an apprentice)!Turns = 10 not bad you can do better. Second try, brainiac Dave comes out to the stage wearing Darth Vador mask (from star wars)! He had in his hand a fire extinguisher, 15 second timing again. Turns = 15 better but now here comes...The fire extinguisher again but with rocket power! Third try, oh no brainiac Ned has a bit of a vomit (by the way it was fake, just to make us aware that it can be very dangerous)Behold the super power of the fire extnguisher combined to rocket power. Again 15 seconds = 21 turns!!!!!!!!!!!!

My favourite part of BRAINIAC today had to be the bit where they did that song on the screen where the BRAINIACS tested your hearing by playing false words that sounded like the actual lyrics of the song. I also enjoyed the part during the interval where lots of people showed off what there body does like Omar did that weird thing with the bones on his back ( which won the award of stretchiest most sick thing award ). My favourite experiment was: WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO SPIN AN OFFICE CHAIR ROUND AND ROUND??? as it was really funny to see someone being spun round and round by fire 2 extinguishers and 2 rocket launchers!!!!

Rating: ***** stars

Comment: UNMISSABLE!!

Today we went to the Ductac theatre to see the show brainiac. We also had a new boy called Goarge starting so it was a super good day. I really enjoyed the show with all the explosions and am looking forward to telling my dad he needs some rockets attached to his work chair. All though when they had all the protection gogles and ear muffs on the first ballon was a let down with a measly explosion or should I say pop. Now on to the dancing sholder blades of my friend Omar. What should I say have you ever seen anthing like it in your life. I will say for one last time before I go the show was thoroughly enjoyable although some times a bit obvious.

Braniac was awesome! I sat next to Tom T and Rory. I liked the whole thing but my favourite part was when they did an experiment to find the slippiest thing in the bathroom. I also thought the song about salsa cookies and octopuses was hilarious. Overall I would give braniac 11/10 and I wish I could see it again.

Today some of year 5 and 6 went to see a show called Brainiac. They did lots of exciting experiments. They were all fantastic however I enjoyed the slide experiment the most because I found it interesting and was fascinated by it. What happened in this experiment was that they took three bathroom substances, Talcum powder,Baby oil and liquid soap and they then got a slide. After that they put 3 markers on the floor, the first one was worth 50 points and the second one was worth 100 points. The third one was worth 1000 points. Then they put three layers of plastic on the slide. They then put 1 of the substances on both the slide, and the person testing the experiment. The person testing the experiment would slide down and see how many points they would earn judging by the markers. They repeated this for each substance.I found it interesting because I thought that the baby oil would go the furthest but the liquid soap did. I thought this would happen because I imagined the baby oil to be more slippery than the liquid soap. Instead the liquid soap got 1000 points and the baby oil got 100. I really enjoyed this day out. It was terrific!

Wowee! Was brainiac cool. I thought the scientists and experiments were very interesting and it made science fun and not boring and geeky ( hehe ). One perticular activity that I liked
was when the vacuum thingy me
bobby drew in air and then puffed it out to form coloured rings of smoke like the caterpillar in Alice in Wonderland.

BRAINIAC: SCIENCE ABUSE

On the 12st November 2010 Years 5 & 6 went to Brainiac: Science Abuse and I personally adored the show because am a bit of a fan, I am disappointed that Richard Hammond (the old presenter for Brainiac) wasn't there, but Topgear does run on a Sunday furthermore he might have more pressing matters to attend to; so it turned out fine.
I loved the awesome testing they did and epically liked the song, the chair moreover the air pump thing.
I sat next to Tom & Erin there but I was so mesmerized I hardly saw them!

I LOVED brainiac! The experiments they did were cool, funny and some you definitely shouldn't try at home! What I perticularly enjoyed was the chair-spinning. 20 spins in fifteen seconds is out of this world (I can see why he threw up) ! I also enjoyed the funny song-SALSA COOKIES!!! WINDMILL COOKIES!!!- I have heard strange words in songs but known it couldn't be true. Brainiac was science and awesome put together, a fantastic show and not for the faint hearted!

THANKS!!!!!!! (BRING ME TUNA!)

Braniac:

Today we saw a show called Braniac.
It involved lot of bangs and booms, but my favorate parts were the brain burns, and one brain burn in particlar...
That one was when they told us how, on music, the singer doesn't sing the right words. They sing words which make your brain mistake them and not want to correct it. Making it sound like the right words.are you confused, because I am.

BRANIAC LIVE!!! was really good because I love watching explosions and I allways watch Braniac on TV.
My favourite part of the show was when the Braniacs had different devices and the guy in the suit just ran onto the stage with a bin that pumped air but when he had it on fire it was th best device.

Brainiac was awsome! My favourite experiment was when they decided to see what materials they could run through. I also liked it when they were showing us how our mind can read words that are all jumbled up but have the correct first letter and last letter.
I would definitely recommend the show!!

I absolutely loved brainic, in fact I think it would have been fare to say that the only thing that you wouldn't like bout it is that it was to long!
My favourite would have to be the rings of smoke! I think that the whole show was incredible! I had a great time and I'm sure everyone else did too.I would recommend brainiac to anyone who would want to have fun( and for people who don't want to have fun, I think brainiac will make them see the light).

On Sunday I didn't come with you guys because I had went to something similar in year 4 at Safa School and it wasn't that great apart from the part when they called me onto the stage.
They made me disassemble a working microphone with two screwdrivers and a hammer!
I had to reassemble it later in the show but that was the only exciting bit.So I didn't really want to go to another science show, becuse I thought it was going to be the same. But when Anna came back she talled me that it was awesome. But now it's too late, I can't go back in time. But never mind.
