Matty's Holiday Blog

This summer I had the most magnificent holiday of my lifetime! I went to many spectacular countries and cities bursting with wonder and excitement.

We flew to our first destination early in the morning on July 21. It had been a long, tiring flight but we had finally landed in Singapore. We were only in Singapore for two days, but in that time we managed to see the marvelous Singapore zoo, where some of the worlds most extraordinary animals on the planet running, jumping, swimming and swinging all over the place! We also met our very good friends and did some fantastic city sightseeing.

Next we went to an island in Indonesia called Bali. We stayed in a luxurious villa with our friends we met in Singapore. We went in the pool and played games in our villa, but we also did entertaining things like going to a water park, having a surfing lesson and going to a volcanic beach with black sand and MASSIVE waves. Next we went to Sydney to see some of our family we hadn't seen in 6 years. With them we went to a brilliant park and had a picnic. W

e then went to Queenstown to go skiing o the mountains. We had 3 fantastic sunny days for skiing and one horrific day when we had a massive blizzard, had to drive down a slippery mountain with a 1600m fall, all the kids crying in the back screaming in the back "we're gonna die!!!" And consequently, crashed into the back of a bus, but thankfully we all got home safe.

Then we went to Auckland where we saw some of our family ,went to a park and a museum. The next and best part of our holiday was when I went to Sydney. We saw a lot of our family here and saw some breathtaking landmarks like the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. We also saw some great zoos and aquariums.

The next and final event of my holiday was going to my old hometown, the Gold coast. It was my birthday today and I saw my Grandparents Went to a park and a beach. We also caught up with some of our old friends, had a surfing lesson and went to a phenomenal Theme Park called Dreamworld.

This was a stunning holiday and surely one not to be forgotten.
