Y6 at the Beach

Year 6 visited the beach today, as stimulus for creative writing, imagery and art work.









We had a great time and collected some fantastic shells for art work.

We used all of our senses to create word banks for use back in class. We discussed and created metaphors and similes.

    i really enjoyed going to the beach last week. I liked the part where we looked for stuff like shells and so on. When i got home i was shatted.

    i thought the beach trip was awesome i special loved going in the sea but i did not like walking back to school it was really hot

    I had so much fun going to the beach! I especialy liked walking instead of riding in a bus. I hope we can go again soon!
