Harry's first day

Today was my first day at my new School called All Hallows. I started school at 8.20am . In the morning I had to go straight to my tutor group where my tutor, Mrs Colgan, gave me my folder. Mrs Colgan teaches science, R.E. (religious education) and Geography. There are 4 other Harrys in my group and 3 of them are Harry H's too!!

After register, we went down to Chapel and my new Headteacher, Mr Murphy, talked about what was going to happen over the next few days and we were each given a prayer book. After that I had a science lesson where we learnt about acids and we put acid into test tubes, I had to wear a lab coat and goggles. It was really cool but a bit scary because we were playing with things that can burn through your skin. Next, I had English and we listened to a tape of Artemis Fowl and we had to write notes, then it was break where I played tag with some of the boys. It felt weird, not the same as Kings Dubai. After break, I had Music with Mr Redman and we learnt a song called Consider yourself at home from Oliver Twist, then it was reading, followed by lunch where I had Roast Turkey and lots of vegetables. Afterwards we had Art where my Art teacher, Mr Somerfield, set a quiz about portraits and I got 8 out of 10! The last lesson of the day was Maths and we did rounding up of decimals, which was quite easy.

I had a great first day and I saw Patrick a lot. Since I am taller than Patrick lots of people in his year kept on calling me Big Patrick or Big Brother and Patrick, Little Brother. It was kind of annoying. I hope everyone is enjoying school at Kings and I miss you all.
Bye from Harry H

Please Mr Watson will you put on the blog for me? Here is a picture of Rose and I on our first day. The blue bags are all our Sports kit!

Tom T's review of Hatred and Hope

Hatred and Hope review
I thought Hatred and hope was absolutely brilliant!!
I think everyone tried their hardest, especially the people who had solo parts. My favourite part was the medic scene because all of the soldiers that were in that scene (me, Matty, Felix, Harvey, Cameron, Francois and Will) we had to be really dramatic to get across the tense emotion to the audience! But my second favourite scene was the one with Ross and Kahlil in it, mainly because I liked the way they made it really powerful and how they made the audience not speak what so ever!
Everybody sang brilliantly, all the songs were immense and the audience were able to sing along, as they were all songs our parents and grandparents know!  The last song WAR got across the message that War is stupid and good for nothing – it just makes people suffer.
WELL DONE TO EVERYONE!!!
Thanks Mr Watson and Miss Bates for making this a brilliant show!

Rory's report

Ferrari World:

On Saturday 16th of April I went to Ferrari World with my Mum,Dad,Sister and friends that came out from the UK.
We had a 45 minute drive to get there. When we arrived we went to Starbucks for a snack( as my Mum got there 2 and a half hours early!!!!) When it opened we went straight to the ticket desk and found out that Formula Rossa( the fastest coaster in ther world) was closed along with G-force, so we got 2 complimentary tickets.

When we got in we went straight to my Dads' companys' ride called: Speed of Magic.A 3D simulator where a funny little alien stole a boys Ferrari keys and he went after it. It was suprisingly good. Next we went for a bite eat. I had a fab chicken shwarma.

After that Joe,Harriet,Mike,My Dad and I went on the 2nd fastest ride in the park:Fiorano GT Challenge. It was quite funny because the 3 kids started singing Livin' on a prayer by Bon Jovi and half way through we heard somone throw-up.We went on it once, did Speed of Magic, then we did it three times.

We then found out about an awsome simulator called Driving with the champion. It was ssssssssooooooo realistic. When the car drove in water, water squirted out of the chair. It was sssssssoooooooo fun.

It had to be the best day of the holiday!!!!!!!!!!

Thankyou sooo much!

Claudia reviews Year show

I really enjoyed hatred and hope, I think it was brilliant ! I think everyone put effort into their parts and their costumes, It is really hard to choose my favourite character but i think it has to be Jasmine because she enjoys the spotlight and is really confident infront of people. I really enjoy performances because we are all working together as a team. Without help and encouragement from staff the play would be nothing like it is now. This play has given a chance for the audience to realize How horrible it was for people during WW2 and inspired lots of children. I cant wait for our next play!!

Tom T - Term 2 reviews

Term Review
This term has been the best term I’ve ever had! Also, it’s been the most enjoyable one because of all the great things that we’ve done including Dibba, Sports day, Art week, etc. My favourite bit of this term was Dibba; mainly because we had a brilliant time and we did awesome activities such as; rock climbing, mountain biking, kayaking and trekking. In my opinion, rock climbing and mountain biking were the best. In mountain biking I was the person of the day which I was really proud about.
My other favourite highlight was art week partially because I got in the gold book for my piece of art; which was a Wolf – my favourite animal – and partially because I loved doing all the painting side of it!  For art week, we had to do a close up painting of any animal we wanted to do, so I choose a Wolf, I found a really eye catching photo of one to work from. The reason I got into the gold book was because I listened to all the advice that Mr. Watson gave me and I worked very hard on the painting to make it look as much like the photo as possible.
My third highlight has been playing cricket for the Kings Dubai cricket team – we have won all our matches so far.  In our match against Raffles last week, I was chosen as Man of the Match.
My fourth highlight is the production that is going on right now! Hatred and Hope is my third highlight because I’ve loved doing all the rehearsals and singing songs in class.  I especially enjoyed today’s proper performance in front of the whole school because we made a lot of teachers cry and we all did our parts well.  I also enjoyed playing my part more than I have ever done in a school production – I can’t wait to find out what we are going to be doing next term ......
Thanks for making this such a great term Mr W!

Harry & Karina Leave Y6

Cameron Reviews Hatred and Hope

I absolutely loved doing Hatred and Hope. Everyone did a great job and it was fantastic. I think that I put on an excellent performance just like everyone else. I really enjoyed being my character ( Peter Mickelwhite ) but my favourite character was probably Alfie Johnson because he is really enthusiastic and energetic. As I said earlier everyone performed well, but in particular I think Jasmine and Harry H really stood out because they acted extremely well and stayed in character for the whole show.

Leila reviews y6 Show

Hatred and hope
Hatred and hope is the heart warming performance about the horror of life in World War 2. With the humungous amount of help from Mrs. Q, Mr. Watson, Miss Bates and Mrs. Hislop y6 kings Dubai managed to touch every member of the audience’s hearts. Everybody was in character all the way through and very loud and confident. The performance would not have been to the same standard even if only one person had been removed from the cast because without the teamwork that the staff and year 6 produced was phenomenal! A special thanks to everyone that helped make the production as special as it was!
The plot of the story is that there are three main families that get ripped apart because of the war. Fathers and sons go off to fight and give their lives while all children get evacuated to the countryside to flee from bombs.
In this production there are many songs that have been wonderfully picked and sung. Not only has this play given the audience a chance to think about all the history that they may have never cared about but it also brought out the liveliness of many in the cast. I also think it has been a bonding experience in some ways but this time not only for y6 but also for the teachers. If the standard of play 1 this year its anyone’s guess what next play will bring.
Well done to everyone involved in the best school production in the world!

Hope and Hatred Reviews by Jack 6JW

I am really proud of myself and I think I read my lines slowly and clearly and I came in at the right time. I think my performance was okay in the rehesals, even  I had to repeat my lines a couple of times because they were not clear enough! I also think Ethan's performance was very good, he put loads of expression into his lines and he had quite a bit to learn, so he should be really proud of himself. My favourite character has to be Danny because his experiences throughout the play was very exciting and interesting.  Will, who played Danny, had a lot to learn and his acting was great. He used lots of  expression in both his word and body which really suited the character he was playing. I think Ross performed well, he was very grown up and sensible about hugging Anna and his expression and enthusiasm kept all of us on our toes. He also had one of the biggest parts in the whole performance and he learned his part of by heart. Overall I think the play went absolutly brilliantly and I would love to do it again!

Joe G - Term 2 Review

Dear Mr Watson

I have really enjoyed term 2 of year 6 I had great fun but learnt lots on the way. I have to say my 2 favorite things were Dibba and Hatred and Hope because they both were amazing . I really enjoyed Dibba because I learnt lots of new amazing stuff and had a truly wild adventure. My favourite things I did at Dibba were trekking , talent show and dhow cruise because they were all fantastic fun. I loved spending time with my best friends away from home, we did lots of fun things together and giggled a lot. I have lots of happy memories from this trip.

I really enjoyed Hatred and Hope because I learnt what it must have been like to live in the war, but had great fun doing it on the way. The families who had sons or husbands fighting must have been so scared for their loved ones. I would not have liked being sent away from my family to fight or to live in the countryside as an evacuee.

I think Year 6 worked really well as a team on the show, I am now more confident on the stage than I was before and challenge myself to do better in every show I take part in. I am going to try really hard to get a bigger part in the end of year production, I am already practising my singing!

I would also like to say a thank you to the teachers of Year 6 because without them none of these things could have happened.

Ethan's Term2 Review

Term 2 of Y6 Ethan Reviews

This term has absolutely flown by,  I think you would agree, but that is because of the amazing things that we as a year group and as separate classes have achieved( such as some incredible writing , Hollis even managed into the Gold Book for it!). Just like last term we had a great time.

Dibba(north Oman)

I know everybody had a great time at Dibba and enjoyed everything there, well I know that I did! The food was great the activities were awesome, well everything was cool.  There were accidents but they were covered in a sheet of happiness.

Hatred and Hope

I absolutely adored our performance about world war 2. I loved ho everybody got to play their part really well. I especially liked the songs, though there was trouble with farewell Lester square! We all still had an incredible time.

Art Week

We were all choosing animals from cheaters to wild boar, but I had to go that extra mile, and study cows! This was great fun as there's a special song that comes to mind, called I am cow by The Arrogant Worms. This was hilarious fun.

The Conclusion

I think that this term wouldn't be the same without Mr. Watson and Miss Bates they have guided us through the twisty and turning road, but we've, as separate classes and a year group, hit the salt flats but we still have the dehydration to keep us moving.

Claudia reflects on term 2

my favourite highlight of this term is Dibba by far! i also really enjoyed sports day because it was really exciting. i also liked the photostories. My favourite was dibba because there was lots of activities and i got to know alot of people in 6lba alot better. (i was in mr watsons group sharks aswell) i liked the photo stories because it was interest ting finding out about loads of animals. Sports day was really exciting and fun altogether.

Term 2 Review by Leila

Term 2
Term 2 was absolutely extraordinary! We had lots of spine-tingling topics. I shall go into more detail about a couple of activities that were involved.
Dibba
Dibba was definitely the one of the two highlights of this term for me! My favourite activity was indubitably rock climbing. The thrill that you feel when you eventually touch the tape at the top is indescribable.
Hatred and Hope
The amazingly written year 6 production Hatred and Hope was undoubtedly the other highlight of the term (and most likely the year). In it I am the floor steward of the ammunitions factory. It is a small part compared to some other peoples and I am hoping for a bigger next show.
Us and them
Since we had just watched the boy in the striped pyjamas, Mr Watson and Miss Bates split year 6 into two fair groups and named them us and them. The us group got to eat cookies and tell the them group what to do, while the them group had to wipe the floor, run around the field, get beaten and get called numbers instead of names. I was in the us group but didn’t feel as powerful as people such as Matty, François and Angus. I didn’t want to be treated like the them group so I didn’t stick up for them or sympathise out loud but I did want to and seeing people like Hollis stick for them and then get into trouble did not encourage me.

Term2 - Eden's review

I have really enjoyed this term as it has been a blast and gone so quickly. I wish that I could go on and on with different things that we have done but I will only tell you a few of my highlights.
Dibba was a high spot; our tent group had lots of fun as Leila was very funny at trying to make us scared with her torch. All activities were great but the one that stuck out above the rest was trekking. Hiking up the Hajar Mountains and the view at the top was spectacular.
It was fantastic news too that Mrs Watson had the twins!
The swimming gala as always was cool. It was nice to see everyone trying their best and everyone cheering on their teams.
As we have been rehearsing for our year 6 play, I’ve had the best time ever. I am very excited about performing it soon and I would like to say good luck to everyone and a thank you to all the teachers for making this play superb.
Thank you for reading
Eden

Ella Reflects on Term 2

there are many different times when i have had lots of fun that i
have remember . this term i have had a fantastic time with the
whole of year 6.there are times like when we went on our school
trip that everyone came togetherand worked as a team. i'll tell
you about some of the moments that i felt were the best...

the fist time this term that was special was when we went to the
dibba trip in oman on the bus everyone had fun with our friends
. when we got there everyone work together and were sensible so
it was all fun .they tryed everything even when they were scared.
we also wre realy helpful and supported our friends!

even in normal class work sometimes when we share our work
everyone listens, everyone shares their thourghts and is realy
open. i like that no-one is left out or sad. we are happy because
the teachers make things like lessons intresting ,but at the same
time we are lerning so much and thats all because the teachers
work so hard just for us.

its not just when year 6 are together ,but also when we are in assemblys
the whole of ks2 singing and having so much fun is another thing that is
fantastic .the ks2 put all their effort in and make a wonderful sound that
is special because they are all so happy and enjoying every moment of it.

this term has been the best term yet and it's all because i am with all my
friendsand that we are all together.i could name thouseds more times when
i have worked hard and loved it .i think one of the resons why is bcause of
the teachers that have made it happen.if i had time i would say thank you
a thousand times i would. and that is term 2!

Hollis - Term 2 Review

This term has been absolutely amazing!! From our trip to Oman to our ww2 y6 production! This term has been so enjoyable for me and all of y6! I really have enjoyed our current subject on the war.
I've heard people tell me that war was bad. And I always knew that as well, but the thing is,until now, I have never been so emotional in a subject. Now that I have seen what it was like, I feel so emotional! It has been very powerful! Another thing I liked doing was the photo stories! And again, I never really liked technology, but now I see how much fun it can be! I loved learning about the giraffe and painting it as well! Also the y6 trip was AMAZING! I had so much fun! I mean, all the new things I did were so exciting! I really loved the talent show as well! To sum it up, it has been and exciting and fun term for everyone! Don't forget the twins! They are precious!:] Thanks so much to everyone for making it a really enjoyable term!

Cameron Reviews Term 2

Art Week

This was really good fun because I enjoy art a lot. I think that my fantastic painting of a cheetah is probably the best piece of art that I have ever produced. Even though I am not very good at using powder paints, I still think that I did extremely well using them. I am exceptionally proud of my finished work!

Dibba

Dibba was incredible fun in so many great ways. All of the activities were really enjoyable, but out of all of them (sea kayaking, mountain biking, trekking, team games, and orienteering) my favourite was definitely mountain biking by far, even though I had a massive epic collision with Harry H. It was amazing the fact that we got to go for 3 nights instead of 2 and my tent group made it even better, they were me, Tom T, Matty, and Harry H.

Sports Day

Sports day was awesome! I thoroughly enjoyed it. I came 2nd in my running race and last in my obstacle race, everyone did so well, and the best thing to top it all was that my house team, Windsor, won! All four house teams did very well and they all deserved to win.

Swim Gala

The inter-house swim gala was excellent. Everybody was cheering their hearts out for their house team and it was so loud. I came 1st in my frontcrawl race and 2nd in my obstacle race, and just like sports day, Windsor managed to win it all!

Hatred And Hope

Performing hatred and hope was incredible. I really enjoyed doing all of the rehearsals and it was even better doing the actual thing. Everyone was great and if Mr Watson, Miss Bates and Mrs Hislop hadn’t put so much effort in then it would have collapsed.

Term 2 Review- by Sophie

I cant say how much i have enjoyed this term. There is a number of things that i have really enjoyed, such as The Amazing Trip to dibba oman, I had an awesome time there especially rock climbing and the dhow trip, they were my 2 favourite activities.
I also enjoyed learing about my animal wich was a lion and when we did the photostories, the were really interesting and fun to create!!
I enjoyed doing my art week painting of the lion which was linked to the photostories. I was very proud of my art work but next time i do a painting i will try and add more details to the parts where i had done block colours. Most Of All i have enjoyed HATRED AND HOPE mini production! I have enjoyed every part of rehersals and watching the others act when i am not on stage. Thank you so much Mr Watson, Miss Bates and Mrs Hislop for organising the play and for making this term the best term ever! Thankyou So much!

Jasmine on term 2

This term has been lots of fun! In fact this year has been absolutely amazing!
My favourite part of the term is being part of Hatred and Hope.
I love being up on the stage with the bright warm lights shining down on us. At
first I was nervous, but once the show started it felt so natural, that the words just
rolled off my tongue.

Dibba was also fabulous! I loved spending time with my teachers and friends.
I got to know everybody a bit better, which made the expeirience even more special!
After Dibba I felt that year 6 became an even stronger team!
Dibba really boost my confidence! Once Marie, Hollis and I did our little
bit at the talent show, I felt a constant buzz inside me, that made my heart
beat really fast, and made my smile reach the gorgeous moon that was hanging from the
radiant sky.

So like I said, this term has been lots of fun! But it wouldn't have been the same without
Mrs Hislop, Miss Bates and Mr Watson.
Thankyou sooooooooooooooo much for a briliant term! I wonder what adventures we'll have
in our third and final term at Kings' Dubai.

Jazz

Matty on term 2

Term 2 has been a really good. I've especially enjoyed:
  • Dibba
  • hatred and hope (wich ROCKED this morning)
  • the music concert
  • and many more...
As the year moves on, I know we will achieve more and more until we go to secondary school. I've really enjoyed this term, and I hope we make our last term of primary a good one. But sadly, Harry won't be with us as he goes to England. I think I have improved on everything, especially assessments, and I am really glad.
Hope everyone has a great, well deserved holiday because I know I will!!!!!!!!!

Francois Term 2 Review

My highlights of the term have
been spending lots of time
with my friends in and out of
class and of course, Dibba.
Dibba with the whole year
group was awesomely awesome. I
absolutely LOVED it!
Esspecially sleeping in a tent
and everybody had four beds to
themselves because we were
only three in my tent(Hihi)!
I also enjoyed spending some
of my lunches with FS2, Year 1
and Year 2. I hope that this
will continue until the end of
the year.

Review of the term by Angus

My highlight of the spring term was certainly Dibba.
The whole thing was incredibly enjoyable, even for a holiday, letalone a school trip.

Rock climbing was extremely fun (although I did graze my knees, and scratch my fingers).
Although the food was mostly okay, the burger meat was rather fatty, the relaxation in
camp was not as good as I expected (due to lack of AC in the tents) nevertheless it
was enjoyable.
Inside the tents there was nothing but 5 threadbare bunkbeds making the room
thouroghly cramped, and we constantly had to deal with people from other tents coming into
our own.
It may seem it was bad and I didnt enjoy it, but in truth, I realy did and wish I can do
it again.

Angus

Rosie's review of the term

This term has been absoloutly amazing. I have enjoyed everything that year 6 have experienced and couldn't be more happy. I am really nervous, yet incredibly excited about our year 6 play based on World War 11 (which I am pretty sure will turn out great!) and I'm sure I'll be really sad when its finished.
The year 6 Dibba trip was the best school trip I have ever been to, and I'm not exagerating. The kayaking, the orienteering and the rock climbing had to be my favorite though, (although at kayaking I moaned a bit about how my arms ached!) All in all it was a trip that I will definately remember.
I also enjoyed the photostory thing we did in I.C.T. It was so much fun! All of them were absoloutly amazing and unique in lots of different ways. The music alway fit into the pictures and I am pretty sure that everyone learnt at least one new thing! Mine was about the cheetah and I'm pretty sure I did well!
The swimming Gala was also a big part of this term. I am in the house of Hanover and, wow, did we yell our heads off or what? Everybody was cheering and shouting and having a heck lots of fun! Even though it wasn't our lucky year, we acted like good sports and cheered everbody who participated. By the way, the banner that everybody had made and designed looked incredible!
Go Hanover!
I have always had a passion for art, and Art Week helped my understanding much more and I had great fun. My drawing was of a cheetah and my point of view was from the side of its face. It looked rather depressed in the picture! I think my favorite was Lily's, or Anna's because their techniques were very neat and inventive.
Well, all these amazing opportunities made the term go quicker than ever and 1 more term then its goodbye primary school and hello secondary school!

Will's review of the term

My favorite part of the term was working with my friends on Hope and Hatred. Why?
Well because I enjoy acting a lot and I think that I am getting pretty good at my role (Danny).
It was also great fun adding in ideas in class and watching it grow.
It started of as a tiny seed or a birds egg and now it is just wow a beautiful flower or a cute small chick.
From scene 4 till scene 6 when I sit at the back of th hall (waiting to dye) I watch the acting and over the practices it has got better and better.

Maddy's review of the term

This term i really enjoyed going to Dibba because i faced my fear of heights and managed to climb to the top of the mountain in one of the activities. I also liked the kayaking because i didn't find it to difficult and when you weren't kayaking you were aloud to play on the beach. We built loads of huge sandcastles, played hopscotch on the sand and swam around in the sea for absolutely ages. I loved the fact that at Dibba everyone worked as a team and had loads fun! My favourite things at Dibba were the nighttime activities when everyone did all the different tasks like balancing a cup of water on you head or the famous stick task and another thing i loved at Dibba was the talent show.

This term sports day was phenomenal. It wasn't about winning or losing it was just about taking part and having fun. I didn't win any of my races but i tried my best and enjoyed being part of the Windsor  team. I really liked doing the basket ball activity and the obstacle race and i was thrilled when it was 6lba's turn to get i drink because my throat dry and my tongue wasn't moist any more. by the end of sports day i was exhorted, i felt like i was going to faint, i was covered in sweat and i needed a break.

I liked doing hatred and hope so much this term that when we first started the show i was really nervous and worried, but half way through the show i was so happy that we get to preform it again. even though i don't have many lines i sill really enjoyed rehearsals and the feeling of being up on stage in front of everybody is a little bit frightening but so exiting almost like the feeling you get when you go on a roller coaster (scared in a good way). It was brilliant to discover what amazing hidden talents we have in year 6. I got almost every song stuck in my head but only because they are such catchy great songs superbly selected by Miss Bates and Mr. Watson.

Felix's review of the term

I'm just writing to say this term has been one of the best school terms of my life.  It's been filled with loads of fun things including Dibba, the Swim Gala (thanks for cheering Windsor), Sports Day and many more.
Lets start with the most exciting of all Dibba!  Sadly I wasn't in your group but none the less I really really enjoyed Dibba.  It was filled with loads of fun activities.  It was arguably the best thing I've ever done in school and maybe even ever!  I perticularly enjoyed the mounting biking because I used to do that in England and enjoy it. You managed it extremly well and coped when Mr Watson left to meet his children.  I really enjoyed meeting in the majalise at night and in  the morning's.  I also really enjoyed the rockclimbing.  It took ages to get to our destination but whenwe got there it was over in a flash. Sadly Icould only reach three quarters of the way up the tall rock face but managed to do the small one.
Dibba was so so fun I want to go again!!!

The swimming Gala was also amazing the vib and the energy uterly amazing!  One of the many good things about Kings' is the pool.  In England you woudn't have pools because of the wether.  But you can't have a good pool without good care and that is what kings' is all about. I'm really proud to be part of kings' Dubai because they don't just teach they add life to it making it fun and intresting while still getting results!!!!
When I was about to swim I got a little nervous but ith all the incorigement a pulled through and won my race.

THis term was the best   :-):-D

Jessica's review of the term

My highlights of this term have been Dibba because of all the fun and enjoyment we had, even though I didn’t really want to go but I’m glad I did. In Dibba my favourite activity was rock climbing because it was very challenging but I achieved something that I  never thought I would; by making it to the top of the mountain, I got a few scrapes and cuts but it was worth it. The only thing which wasn’t as fun was the dhow cruise because of all the rocking about, but overall I really had a great and fantastic time.
One of my other highlights was when we all did photo stories because I enjoyed getting all of the pictures I liked from the internet and getting the right music to fit with the slides, I think I did quite well with my photo story and I am proud of it. The last highlight from this term is of course the Hatred and Hope play, not just performing it but also singing along in the classroom and doing the rehearsals in the gym, I think we all did really well in the performance in front of the whole school, hopefully we can all do as well in the 2nd performance.

Brittny's review of the term!

In year 6 we have done alot of fun exciting amazing things. Dibba was really wonderful because it will be the last time we will all get to see each other as a whole
year group before we go to different secondary schools. There are lots of amazing activities at Dibba my two favourite activities were Rock Climbing and Mountain Biking.
Another thing we have done is our Sports Day. There was lots of activities there and people from JC were helping us.

We have also done Swimming Galas and it took so long to get through to the relay races and the obstacle race (the obstacle race was my favourite)
But the Swimming Gala was fun because we were all cheering together.

I cant wait until we are going to be doing 'Hatred and Hope' it will be so fun and it will be the best show ever (hopefully). I usually get really nervous and I don't usually like speaking in front of an audience but weirdly i am more confident in front of an audience then just my class. But i still cant wait until we do our production.

Last but not least I  liked doing our photo stories even though I didn't like showing them to the class but although i really like making it and i liked watching other peoples too.
Art week was fun too I liked painting  and drawing which is weird for me because I usually hate to  draw because I'm awful at drawing and handwriting but for some reason i loved art week.

Out of all of these things my favourite thing was going to Dibba and another thing that will soon
be one of my favourites is 'Hatred and Hope'.

Hannah's review of the term

This year has been exhilarating! My favourite thing we have done this year is 'Hatred and hope' although we have also done some other amazing things like our trip to Dibba and art week. I am Mavis in 'Hatred and hope' and I love my part in the play; I think it is just right for me. It is not to big or not to small. Anna's voice is so good because she can sing high notes really well!

Art week would be my second favourite thing because I liked it how we painted close ups of animals and not the whole animal. I did a beautiful picture of an eye of a bobcat. I thought Lily's was awesome because I liked the texture of the background. She did two frogs sitting next to each other.

Year 6 has been astounding. I wonder what other wonderful things we will do later on in the year!
